Male house mice don’t just squeak but sing melodic love songs to attract female partners, just like birds. Their romantic melodies are pitched at the ultra-sonic range beyond our hearing. But each mouse has his own individual signature tune which he sings in the hope of wooing a female mouse. She is attracted by the male songs and can even distinguish different songs among brothers.
